Forget-me-nots chosen by Harry and Meghan for bridal bouquet to remember Diana
Harry also contributed by hand-picking several flowers from their private garden at Kensington Palace a day ahead of Saturday’s royal wedding, the palace said.
Myrtle sprigs from stems planted at the Isle of Wight’s Osborne House by Queen Victoria in 1845 also featured, furthering a long-standing tradition.

Hide AdSprigs were also used from a plant grown from the myrtle in the Queen’s wedding bouquet in 1947.
The myrtle tradition began when Princess Victoria, the eldest daughter of Queen Victoria, carried the flowers at her 1858 wedding.
The Duchess of Cambridge and Diana also carried myrtle at their weddings.
Queen Victoria’s original plant was presented to her in a posy by Prince Albert’s grandmother.
Meghan’s bouquet also included scented sweet peas, jasmine and lily of the valley.
