Reports on Monday claim Fletcher, successful in a loan spell at Barnsley last term, will join Garry Monk’s men on loan before the transfer window shuts.
Fletcher has struggled to nail down a starting spot with the Hammers, but has impressed in his brief cameos.

Hide AdFletcher has racked up 19 appearances, although 16 of those have come from the substitutes bench. The 21-year-old moved to east London in the summer from Manchester United.
Villarreal winger Pedraza, meanwhile, is preparing to fly into England and undergo a medical ahead of a half-season loan to Leeds.
The 20-year-old is due to complete a move to Elland Road ahead of Tuesday’s deadline after cutting short a previous loan at Spanish second division club Lugo.
Villarreal have paid around £300,000 to buy Pedraza out of his deal with Lugo, a side he joined in July and represented for the final time in a league game against Real Zaragoza last night.

Hide AdLeeds are set to pick up the cost of terminating his loan and have negotiated a deal which will see them sign Pedraza permanently for a fee of around £8.5m if they secure promotion to the Premier League in May.
Swansea City have joined the race to sign new Barnsley captain Marc Roberts.
The Swans are reportedly ready to table a £5m offer, with the Welsh outfit set for a second high-profile raid on Oakwell after signing Alfie Mawson in late August.
Burnley and West Bromwich Albion are also interested Roberts, 26, who is the new captain at Barnsley following the exit of Conor Hourihanbe.

The 21-year-old right-back had not appeared for the first-team this season until Saturday, when Jurgen Klopp opted not to risk teenager Trent Alexander-Arnold in case Nathaniel Clyne is not fit to return against Chelsea on Tuesday.
Alexander-Arnold has overtaken Randall in Klopp’s thoughts at right-back this season and Randall had even been struggling to get a game for the Reds’ under-23s in the first half of the season until Alexander-Arnold became a more permanent fixture at Melwood.
Randall is expected to head out on loan this month and is now reported to be heading to Yorkshire as a replacement for James Bree, who joined Aston Villa last week.

City have repelled the bid, although manager Pep Guardiola is reporteldy said to have been considering cutting the 26-year-old’s time with the Terriers short in order to have him cover Fernandinho’s absence in his squad.
